Edgar Allan Poe's Ligeia at Death Valley Junction

Join us in Las Vegas (or virtually) on October 31, 2022, when we mix one (1) part psychodrama film based on Edgar Allan Poe’s Ligeia; inside one (1) part Amargosa Opera House located in Death Valley Junction; with one (1) part storytelling bus tour from an arts organization engaging immigrant communities in Illinois, Nevada and California to create, participate, and empower.  Add liberal amounts of the spirits of Edgar Allan Poe and the fabulous Marta Beckett  (the ballet dancer who made the opera house famous in David Lynch's Lost HIghway, National Geographic, Life and an Emmy-winning documentary). . Pour the entire brew over a red carpet outside the Opera House under the blackest Death Valley desert stars.

Michelle Arsenault: " I discovered precious metal clay a dozen years ago and have been drawn not only to its reclaimed feature but also to the magical alchemy of turning it into fine silver jewelry. I teach and have a studio locally to Baltimore, where I have lived all my life. I have a BSN from the U of M Baltimore, but retired to practice a different art in 2016. I am now a silver artist full time."
