Raven Reception MOVIE NITE & VIP Twilight Tour of Green Mount Cemetery

Start festival weekend with a pint, a movie, and a toast to The Raven! Join us for a thrilling movie night and social to celebrate the 180th anniversary of Poe’s most famous poem—complete with themed drinks, spooky vibes, and a room full of fellow Poe fans. Finish the evening with an anniversary tribute to the The Raven by party fowl, Chad The Bird, and an open-air screening of the 1963 classic, "The Raven" directed by Roger Corman, and starring Vincent Price!

Want to make a night of it? Add on our VIP twilight tour of Green Mount Cemetery— Here lie some of Maryland’s most storied figures, including the infamous John Wilkes Booth and Elijah Bond, inventor of the Ouija Board (whose headstone bears the board’s mysterious “Goodbye"), Enoch Pratt, John H.B. Latrobe, and hundreds of others. A few Poe family members also rest here, their graves set among elaborate 19th-century stonework that is as eerie as it is exquisite.  The tour includes shuttle to and from the film party.
