Poe Fest International will be online this year.
Due to the COVID-19 health emergency and other risks, we must forego staging festival grounds at Poe House this year. But the show goes on! Watch live-streamed performances, workshops and other content the weekend of October 3 & 4th, 2020. Viewing is FREE!
In addition, sign up for LIVE virtual tours and other workshops below. There are many ways to celebrate Poe during festival weekend!
Learn the mysterious circumstances of Poe's death in 1849 and how the very clothes in which he was found offer clues to the mystery of his final days. Next, explore the living arts of fashion & costume in films that adapt Poe's works. Pay respects at a candle-light vigil over Poe's body in a casket.
Explore the enduring mystery surrounding Poe’s tragic death. Includes virtual stops at four important Poe Places around Baltimore, including both of Poe’s graves, and the sites where Poe was found and passed away. Tickets also include scenes from a special re-enactment of Edgar Allan Poe's first funeral.
See inside the historic Edgar Allan Poe House, with readings by a very special un-dead mystery guest. Each virtual session is led by a live guide who will share the history of Edgar Allan Poe's life in Baltimore, explore the poet's mysterious death in the city in 1849, and learn about the poems and short stories Poe wrote while living here.
Your support and contributions will enable us to keep Poe Fest Int'l a FREE community event in Baltimore.
