The International Edgar Allan Poe Festival & Awards returns to Baltimore October 2–4, 2026, commemorating the 177th anniversary of Poe’s death in the city where his legend lives on.

This year’s free festival grounds will be located at the plaza at Lexington Market in downtown Baltimore, with live stage programming, artists, authors, vendors, and additional activities inside the Baltimore Room. The Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum will remain open throughout festival weekend and connected to Lexington Market and other Poe destinations by a free shuttle.

Admission to the main festival grounds is FREE. Ticketed performances, tours, exhibitions, and special events will take place throughout the weekend, with proceeds benefiting The Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum.
